The Snooker Club and its full size slate bed table are as old as the Institute itself,
from when it was originally a billiards room. It is one of the original doctrines
of the donor David Davies’ philosophy in 1922, that the building should be used for
recreation by Montgomery townsfolk.
The snooker room is open during the Institute opening hours. To become a member,
a small annual fee is required, then you will be entitled to admission to the snooker
room which will allow you to use the table according to the rules of the club.
